If only jumping to conclusions was an Olympic sport. We would crush!

I’m not going to pretend I understand the plight of Ukrainians, but I’m definitely not going to simply take the word of news organizations that habitually lie to me. That just seems like common sense.

Celia Farber’s been asking unpopular questions, as she tends to do, and I love her for it. She’s one of the people who is going to make curiosity cool again.

I still don’t know the answers. But, jeez, I never thought about rebel groups mobilizing to join Russia to “liberate Ukraine from fascism.” What else should I be considering?

I’m rooting hard for the return of earnest questions and thoughtful dialogue. Here’s an article I wrote about it in 2019.
