BlueCollarBoycott.com aims to halt the building of prisons (aka 15-minute cities)
I wrote a couple of weeks ago about 15-minute cities.
If we want to stop these open air prisons from being built, we’re going to have to actively divert our energy away from building them. Because it’s dystopian future made of our own energy and resources if we allow it.
I like this guy’s idea…

It seems to me that there’s a lot of untapped horsepower in the working class. I mean, this is where all the skilled trades reside. This is where all the truck drivers are, where all the mechanics are. We’ve got a lot of horsepower. The problem is we don’t organize well. For some reason we’re just shit organizers, but I’m going to help with that.
See, as of yesterday evening, I’m the proud owner of a domain name called BlueCollarBoycott.com.
…What I envision is… that we will begin to post information about organizations, individuals, woke-ass corporations and what projects they’re doing… and take a hard look at whether or not we want to staff those projects.
Think about it. We literally get up everyday and strap our boots on and go out and build our own prison, don’t we?
How do you think they’re gonna build 15-minute cities without people to pull cable and install cameras and install license plate readers… erect the poles and pour the foundations… put the fuckin’ gates up. How are they going to do any of that if people just refuse to staff those projects?
And we call out the companies that are taking the contracts to do that kind of shit and refuse to work for those companies. Yeah, boycott man… we’ve got to bring some teamsters union energy to the skilled trades. Like, if you’re a truck driver, what are you hauling? Where’re you hauling it to? Do you know who it’s for? Maybe you should refuse that load.
Let’s say you’re a mechanical contractor and there’s a cooling tower that’s having one of these little issues at one of these woke-ass corporation’s data centers. One of these companies that likes to trample all over people’s First Amendment. Maybe their data center gets a little bit hot because their shit doesn’t get fixed right away… because they’re on the naughty list on BlueCollarBoycott.com.
You see where I’m going with this? I know… we gotta start somewhere. But imagine the possibilities…
If you want to see where this could go, you can subscribe to BlueCollarBoycott.com here. I just did.
If you want to learn more about 15-minute cities, Dave Payette has been doing some deep dives…
I don’t like their vision of the future - not one little bit.
But I REALLY like the idea of harnessing all our power and working together to build something different. Let’s try!
Thanks Ann! Appreciate the introduction to #bluecollarboycott. I like him too, very much, and have just subscribed. Atb.
