I really don’t like malls, so I’m almost never in them. But I happened to spend an hour in one while waiting to catch a plane.
Two kiosks caught my eye while I was there. One allowed you to make a plastic model of your hand. The other took a detailed photo of your eye and made art from it.

In keeping with this harmonization, the FDA issued a final rule to help advance medical product development without compromising the rights, safety and welfare of people participating in clinical research.
The rule provides an exception from the requirement to obtain informed consent when a clinical investigation poses no more than minimal risk to the people participating in the research, and the research includes appropriate safeguards to protect the rights, safety and welfare of participants. As a side note, I noticed yesterday that my local Whole Foods has installed those palm readers at all the self-check out stations.
