How Does the Earth Experience Humanity?

I’m thinking I may not be the only one who needs to consider this today…
2/22 meditation.
The Earth is empathic and it will always reflect the state of humanity. What some call “climate change” is simply a reflection of the inflammation and chaos that humanity is experiencing and feeding. It’s not just the earth that is getting warmer.
Earth is a macrocosm. You are the microcosm.
Humanity is consumed with progress and speeding ahead. Your attachment to instant gratification, activity and speed has created an acceleration. You forget that your body is finite. When you live faster, you die faster. Cancer is the manifestation of uncontrolled rapid growth. Tumors reflect your preoccupation with excess accumulation. High blood pressure and cardiac problems reflect the growing intensity and the tendency of people to burn the candle at both ends. Arthritis is reflective of inflexibility in other parts of your life.
If you pay close attention, you will see all of the same ailments reflected in the world. Skin conditions afflicting people may be reflected as problems with the bark on the trees. Parasites and pestilence often show up together. Rivers and streams can give you insight into what is happening in your circulation.
You are one of Earth’s “cells.” It’s not just Earth’s resources you consume. It’s your own.
Healing the Earth is internal work. The fire inside you can scorch the Earth. Your fear of scarcity will bleed it dry. Neglecting to nourish will leave it barren.
But the gift of the present moment is that you can begin the healing at any time. Your simple act of breathing can nourish the plants and trees that you rely on to create cleaner air. So breathe with intention. Your attention to the sun, the moon and the seasons can bring alignment and restore a rhythm that can quell the chaos. Finding your own center can create the foundation on which peace can be restored.
Make time to stop. Sometimes the action, the things you think of as movement and progress, steal your attention and take you away from what needs to flow. Movement without intention is often wasted energy. It can leave you more depleted and drive you towards mindless consumption. Without gratitude, nothing you consume will truly nourish you and Earth’s resources are then consumed into a black hole of unfulfilled need.
Make time to notice. This is what your senses are for. Smell the air. Taste your food. Notice the sunlight and how it changes the colors around you. Feel the textures, the softness, smoothness, roughness. Everything you observe in nature and in other human beings is a gift. There are clues and signs all around you. There are answers and simple moments to appreciate. There is healing. There are opportunities. Every moment offers them. Don’t be too busy to notice.
Also, you can ask her yourself. She will answer.
