My friend, Kari Bundy, who lost her son Mason after his 4 month vaccinations, once stood before thousands of people at the Vaccine Injury Epidemic (VIE) Event on National Mall in DC and delivered a simple and powerful message.
“Just show up.”
A lot of incredible speeches were delivered on that day - Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Mary Holland, Dr. Bob Sears, Barbara Loe Fisher and other well-known health freedom advocates - but I was struck by this young mom with a tremor in her voice, being the change.
It was a Horton Hears a Who moment for me.
For those who don’t know the famous Dr. Seuss book, Horton is an elephant that, despite being disparaged, mocked and dismissed, goes to great lengths to save a tiny civilization that lives on a small speck (that he places on a flower) because, “a person’s a person no matter how small.” Horton LISTENED to the tiny voices, despite being unable to see any other proof of these people and he advocated for them.
But Kari is more than a Horton. She’s also a JoJo.
In the tiny town’s darkest hour, just as Horton’s adversaries were about to destroy the speck of dust because Horton failed to provide “proof” of this tiny civilization, young Jojo added his voice to the throngs of voices around him. And suddenly, they heard.
“We’ve GOT to make noises in greater amounts! So, open your mouth, lad! For every voice counts!” Thus he spoke as he climbed. When they got to the top, the lad cleared his throat and he shouted out, “Yopp!”
And that Yopp
That one small extra Yopp put it over! Finally, at last! From that speck on that clover their voices were heard! They rang out clear and clean. And the elephant smiled.
Kari’s was the Yopp. More than just a voice for the invisible victims of vaccine injury that so many refuse to see, she was the “breakthrough” voice that pierced my belief that someone else was better suited to speak up. Here was a young mother who had already experienced the suffering she was trying to prevent. She was nervous. She was inexperienced at public speaking. And she did it anyway. In front of thousands of people.
Because truth.
Because children.
Because science.
Because informed consent.
Because Mason.
So, I am following her lead. I show up at Board of Health meetings, my statehouse and wherever else I might make a difference. Because maybe I’m somebody’s Horton or Jojo, too.
Since a NJ bill that would deny college access to the unvaccinated looms, one of the ways I showed up this month was by addressing my concerns about the proposed mandates to my local board of health. I’m sharing my testimony, not because it’s anything special (it’s not)… and definitely not because I’m a good speaker (I’m not), but because it’s what showing up looks like. I’m nervous and I trip on my words. My voice falters. But I’m there. Two friends showed up with me and I always love that. One recorded my testimony. There are lots of ways.
I figure we’re all short on time and we need to share our templates so it’s easier for all of us to show up AND live our best lives in between.
On June 20, Asm Herb Conaway introduced bill A4334, which would require students, staff and “others present” at institutions of higher education to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
This legislation is discriminatory, unnecessary and absurd. COVID vaccine mandates were always wrong, but now they are also just blatantly punitive. And dangerous.
We can no longer deny that some of the early warnings about these shots were warranted.
There have been over 50,000 cases of myocarditis, nearly 16,000 heart attacks and nearly 30,000 deaths reported to VAERS, the CDC’s own surveillance system. A Harvard study asserted that less than 10% of adverse events ever get reported, so these numbers represent fraction of what is happening in the real world. And while we can’t talk about causality, these are gigantic safety signals and we need to look at them.
We’re learning that there are at least temporary impacts in fertility for both men and women and the long term impacts remain unknown. Miscarriages are off the charts. These things were dismissed as “misinformation” early on, but we seem to confirm more of them every week.
These shots provide no public health benefit. They do not stop infection or transmission. They were formulated for variants that no longer exist and they’re not effective against the current circulating strains. Our double-vaxxed, doubled-boosted President just announced that he has Covid. Again.
As time goes on, an increasing percentage of vaccinated people are being hospitalized with COVID. And more recent data points to a growing number of COVID deaths among the vaccinated. We mandated vaccines for many young athletes and by March 2022, at least 769 of them collapsed on the field, many from cardiac events. Average age 23.
College aged students generally navigate COVID without incident, but are at higher risk of developing vaccine-related side effects like myocarditis.
Please do not parrot NACCHO talking points if this bill becomes active. Protect our kids for real by protecting their choices.
Thank you.
Here’s the Letter to the Editor I recently submitted.
You can also “show up” by reaching out to legislators. Here’s an easy way to do it. (If you’re not in NJ, you can also look to find action alerts in your home state)

https://standforhealthfreedom.com/action/end-teacher-testing/
And here’s some additional information from Innovating Parenting regarding what bills like this will look like.
Children’s Health Defense provides some great action alerts to make it easy for your to defend health freedom all over the world.
And there’s a long list of powerful voices you can follow on Substack and elsewhere. If you’re willing to show up, there’s a job for you. I promise. This is a stone soup movement and your contribution could be just the spice we need!
By the way, Kari no longer has the tremor in her voice. She is a powerful and extraordinary speaker who reaches new hearts every day (in multiple languages).
And the elephant smiled.
Thank you, Kari.
Thank you Ann, you are an absolute champion for our Kids and our liberties. I may have another avenue for you to publish your articles. See you soon I hope.
Thank you Ann
Today August 10, I emailed the entire NJ Senate and Assembly members your letter opposing A 4334.
