Limited Hangout: A Sprinkle of Truth
with the narrative collapsing, corporate media is reworking its messaging
It’s spring and narrative farmers are scrambling to figure out which thought seeds are most likely to bear the best fruit.
Over the last couple of weeks, mainstream media is reversing course rather dramatically. What we’re witnessing is called “limited hangout.”
From Wikipedia:
According to Victor Marchetti, a former special assistant to the Deputy Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), a limited hangout is "spy jargon for a favorite and frequently used gimmick of the clandestine professionals. When their veil of secrecy is shredded and they can no longer rely on a phony cover story to misinform the public, they resort to admitting—sometimes even volunteering—some of the truth while still managing to withhold the key and damaging facts in the case. The public, however, is usually so intrigued by the new information that it never thinks to pursue the matter further."
“Conspiracy theorists” are poking holes in the hot air balloon we call the Covid narrative. They need to patch it up with bits of truth so we’ll buy the Avian Flu narrative, the Climate Change narrative and the WEF/WHO One Health narrative.
For perspective, consider how people were manipulated into compliance. “Science is truth” and “trust the experts” we were told. People were mocked for doing their own research.
But now people are realizing that the “experts” parroted the results of poorly designed studies from captured organizations. They’re discovering that they were gaslit into submission.
So expect to find breadcrumbs that form a teeny tiny path of credibility that seeks to lead you back home to a new and improved narrative (thanks to behavioral science).
Here are a few potential examples.
The New York Times is acknowledging vaccine injury. And instantly, they’re indignant about it.
Is anyone listening?
Pay attention to the parts of the narrative that are reinforced when any admission is made. Sometimes the qualifying is the most important part of the story (the narrative affirmation).
The Covid vaccines, a triumph of science and public health, are estimated to have prevented millions of hospitalizations and deaths. Yet even the best vaccines produce rare but serious side effects.
I’m also seeing long Covid mentioned in a number of these stories. Are they trying to create a distinction between long Covid and post-vaccination injuries? If so, why?
Some scientists fear that patients with real injuries are being denied help and believe that more needs to be done to clarify the possible risks.
“At least long Covid has been somewhat recognized,” said Akiko Iwasaki, an immunologist and vaccine expert at Yale University. But people who say they have post-vaccination injuries are “just completely ignored and dismissed and gaslighted,” she added.
While I’m delighted that the vaccine injured are finally getting acknowledged in corporate media, I’m wary. Journalistic integrity means reporting on something when it’s inconvenient and requires courage. Limited hangout means reporting on something because the jig is up and if you don’t start telling at least some of the truth, you’re going to lose the rest of your audience.
Remember when Bill Clinton admitted trying marijuana… but he didn’t inhale?
Like that. There’s some truth, but the dishonesty remains. Often presides. Because there’s something inherently deceitful about waiting until it’s “safe” to tell the truth.
Credibility Makeovers
Christ Cuomo is now acknowledging vaccine injury and is taking Ivermectin.
“You guys are the problem”
“There is going to be a consequence for irrational resistance.”
In a recent interview, Cuomo admits that he’s learned a few things since shaming Rep Byron Donalds for refusing to get vaccinated, but he did it for a good reason… And he was given “bad information.”
(09:30) Apology? Of course not… I believe as a leader, at that time, you had a duty to be thorough in what you were putting out there as opposed to just playing politics.
(I’m guessing this is accusation, not admission, but this is him framing a virtue.)
This was never as simple as vaccine good/vaccine bad. Politics made it that and it put us into a toxic environment (no pun intended) where even today there’s no curiosity about the vaccine. You get a VAERS system, which is very imperfect, and you don’t have robust government dialogue or investigation of the vaccine. You don’t have political investigation of what happened during the pandemic… because they only see politics.
“They.” Cuomo is distancing himself from those influenced by politics and aligning himself with those calling for dialogue and investigation into the vaccine. But watch him reframe the conversation to prop up the Covid vaccine…
11:54 The vaccine is a really important conversation that’s being ignored. I do not fault myself for telling people at the time what the government was giving us as best practices. People say, “But your job is to question.” On what basis? The basis of questioning early on was “because I say so.” … What this guy and other people want me to do is to say “I was wrong. The vaccine is bad.” I’m not going to say that. The data is overwhelming that when the vaccine entered our population, the people going into the hospital with very serious or eventually terminal cases, was reduced.
On ivermectin…
I’m taking a regular dose… of ivermectin….Ivermectin was a boogeyman early on in Covid. That was wrong. We were given bad information about ivermectin. The real question is why…
My doctor was using it during Covid. On her family and on patients. And it was working for them. So they were wrong to play scared on that. Didn’t know that at the time. Know it now. Admit it now. Reporting on it now.
And he reminds us…
… If I were a propagandist, I wouldn’t be doing the reporting that I’m doing right now.
Actually, I think that’s exactly the kind of reporting that a good propagandist would be doing right now. If you watch the interview, you can observe what narrative threads are reinforced as our attention is redirected and the issues are reframed.
I’m not saying that he doesn’t believe what he’s saying now. I just think there’s something driving the timing of his assertions/admissions and it’s not journalistic integrity.
Here’s another one. Dr. Debora Birx is now acknowledging that there could be thousands of people with vaccine injury and she’s calling for transparency.
In acknowledging vaccine injury, Deborah Birx explains that it makes "total sense" that immunizations can sometimes cause the same symptoms that the natural disease can cause.
I love that you had Shaun (Barcavage) on… A lot of his symptoms are similar to long Covid symptoms. Well that makes total sense. That happens often with immunizations - that if the natural disease can cause it, then it also can sometimes be seen in certain profiles of the vaccine. We should be studying that right now.
I suspect that one was a bit of an oopsie.
Birx continues…
You and I both remember what happened during HIV. HIV had a lot of misinformation, a lot of confusion… And what happened? Advocates and activists went to the streets and demanded that the government do better and the government did. So let’s demand that the government do better and bring all of this transparently to light.
(she obviously hasn’t read The Real Anthony Fauci)
She does a lot of smoothing over throughout the interview as she calls for transparency, and then lets us know why she’s really doing this interview:
There will be another time when we need the American people to come together and listen. And I think until we have the 9/11 Commission, until we’ve listened to each and every one of them and address their concerns and they believe they were heard, people are gonna continue to spread conspiracy theories. You block conspiracy theories when you let people be heard and answer them transparently.
They want your trust back. And if they have to weave a little bit of truth into the fabrication, so be it.
How will the story continue to unfold, I wonder…
You have to finish this movie.
What will the globalists do to silence the people so that the others continue to obey? How do they get the masses to ignore their warnings? How do they maintain the control they have and gain control of everyone else? What kinds of things will they need to resort to and who can be sacrificed?
And how will the small group of people wake the masses and escape the medicated haze? How exactly do they get through to their friends and neighbors? Do they figure it all out? Do they work together? What do they have to overcome? What’s their biggest obstacle?
Do they win?
These people (e.g., Cuomo, Lemon, Birx, et. al) have spent all of their credibility chips. They don't get to "call" for anything, I don't care what it sounds like. Would you ever trust a convicted pedophile to babysit your children? Some things can never be taken back. They've gone too far.
If one were able to personify the hatred and loathing of Big Pharma for common people, put it into a single person and allow it to speak, you would have Chris Cuomo on CNN. It's like he channeled the freaking devil, night after night.
Cuomo's blatant arrogance and performative almost-humility is sickening. It's all the evidence that I need to know, just like the proverbial "devil", he's lying to you even when he's telling the truth.
I wonder if those managing the political establishment/deep state know that too many people have directly experienced vaccine injury in self, family or friends, and will only get angrier about what happened in the absence of "acknowledgement". Perhaps they are wondering how many erstwhile establishment stalwarts might be considering voting for Kennedy, given Trump and Biden's responsibility for the production and mandating of these products, and the gaslighting propaganda that has greeted the injured. Such managers might decide that they'd better admit something, in order to give those wavering folks a reason to swing back to their usual establishment inclinations. "Well, now that they've acknowledged the problem...."
