It's Your Turn to Be Brave
The FDA will be meeting to review Pfizer’s Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) request for it’s COVID-19 vaccine for children under 5 in early April. Here is the letter I sent to Vaccine and Related Biologicals Advisory Committee (VRBPAC) members who will vote on this EUA:
Dear Regulators, Board Members, and Educators,
If you are on this e-mail you have a critical role in determining the fate of our children and ultimately our country. It’s time to get uncomfortable and move beyond “just doing your jobs.”
Please. This is for future generations. The stakes couldn't be higher.
It didn’t happen in a single moment, but somewhere along the way the role of public health lost its way. The medical establishment decided to equate vaccine compliance with public health and all efforts were re-routed.
But what if compliance IS the problem?
The United States has been the most vaccinated countries in the world for years. It is also among the unhealthiest, at least among developed countries. About 50% of the US population suffers with at least one chronic disease, accounting for about 86% of healthcare expenditures. We spend more on healthcare than any other country in the world, yet we still have one of the highest infant mortality rates in the developed world. Whatever we believed initially, this public health measure isn't working. Not if health is the goal.
Despite this, we continue to double down on vaccines, adding more to the schedule each year. And we continue to get sicker.
Still, we spend taxpayer money on research and messaging campaigns to address vaccine hesitancy. We pretend the problem is “access,” “equity” or “misinformation,” but at this point the inconvenient truth is hemorrhaging through increasingly desperate propaganda.
If COVID-19, daylight savings, cold weather, cannabis use, mental health conditions and stress can all cause heart attacks and strokes, why is it so inconceivable that COVID-19 shots might also cause them?
Nearly 13,000 heart attacks have been reported to VAERS following COVID-19 shots. Why work so hard to deny strong temporal associations?
The SARS-CoV-2 spike protein that mRNA injections are designed to produce is linked to microvascular damage and myocarditis. Why dismiss biological plausibility when related adverse events are occurring by the tens of thousands?
Pfizer’s pediatric vaccine has failed, both in clinical trials and out in the real world.
The most tragic part of all is that children are being asked to risk their own health to participate in an experiment that offers them next to nothing. And some children will die. Some already have.
Healthy young immune systems still offer the best protection available.
You have an opportunity to change course. Yes, it will be uncomfortable. Yes, you will likely experience some of the name-calling and gaslighting that many of us have experienced. And your careers may suffer. But forgiveness and redemption are available for those who revisit the truth and follow their consciences. And perhaps, if enough of you come forward, science, medicine and humanity will be saved.
One way or another, the truth will come out. You just have to decide what side of history you want to be on when it does.
