The ACIP Did What We Knew It Would Do

Welp, we knew this would happen.

We spoke up to voice our disapproval and to let them know we were watching … and so they could see we were growing in numbers. I think I even saw some squirming. They’re no longer making these decisions in the dark and they seem to know it.

But they still did it. 15-0 in favor of adding COVID shots to the childhood schedule… starting at 6 months. You can read more about it here.

The COVID jab should not be added to the list of childhood vaccines. 1) the jabs don’t prevent spread 2) it can be harmful to children 3) CDC says wears off after 8 mo.s 4) children aren’t at great COVID risk 5) it’s obsolete with new variants 6) there’s no liability for harm

ACIP slides: it is a BAD decision to add this to the SCHEDULE 👇 This vaccine has (a) no convincing evidence it helps the 86% of kids who already had covid & (b) no evidence it will help kids in 2027 against whatever new strain comes CDC data shows parents don't want it🧵

This was always going to happen. It was always part of the plan. It’s the only way these shots can enjoy permanent legal immunity as people continue to suffer injuries and die.

Twitter is now full of CDC apologists explaining that the CDC is not mandating the shots. They’re not wrong. What they don’t acknowledge is that public health officials, legislators and school districts regularly point to CDC recommendations to justify mandates.

Expect this.

The CDC and ACIP insist their recommendations aren’t mandates. And *technically* they’re not. But here’s a snapshot of how these recommendations become instant mandates at several colleges across the country. A few policies shown here, full list: @NCM4Ever docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u…

Del Bigtree did a show today on the Highwire.com/watch about this for those seeking more info. Tucker Carlson talked about this issue both yesterday and the day before. He has three million viewers. So there’s that.
