NJ's S3240 Advances. Here's My Testimony

Today, S3240, a bill that would automatically enroll people into a vaccine tracking system, passed through New Jersey’s Senate Health Committee.

NJ's S3240 is Another Step Towards a Surveillance State
On Thursday, December 15, New Jersey’s Senate Health, Human Services and Senior Citizens Committee will meet to discuss S3240, which “Requires automatic registration with New Jersey Immunization Information System upon administration of vaccine for certain persons who consent to registration.” You can read the bill…

We knew it was likely.

Thanks to many of you, thousands of emails were sent and calls were made, and at least some of our legislators heard us. But we’re going to have to get louder. I was one of a handful of people who showed up in Trenton to oppose the bill and one of three people to testify. We need more voices.

Here’s my testimony:

Good morning, Senators, and thank you for opening up this conversation.

My name is Ann Rosen and I’m a holistic healthcare practitioner and a patient rights advocate.

I’m concerned about S3240 for a number of reasons. And I think we need to make a habit of thinking beyond the stated intentions for each piece of legislation.

My first concern is always informed consent. How many people even realize that New Jersey keeps a vaccine database that has been tracking kids since 1998? Will constituents be informed that they will automatically be added to this database upon receiving a vaccine? Will they know in advance, so they can provide the required written request for an opt out? It seems unlikely.

S3240 means that private health information can be shared with schools, colleges, child care centers, public agencies, and private organizations as yet to be determined by the commissioner. This pandemic showed us how vaccination status can be weaponized and used to discriminate against those deemed “non-compliant.” Our sitting governor called these people “Knuckleheads.”

The critical part of your job is protecting our Constitutional rights, not making sure we’re “up-to-date” on our vaccines or identifying “persons who require immediate immunization in the event of a vaccine-preventable disease outbreak.”

That last phrase, quoted from the bill, is chilling because the language is in lockstep with WHO and CDC technocracy goals that seek to use AI, digital surveillance and data collection to bring in the automation of social engineering and social rule.

It seems no coincidence that the CDC has recently provided $3.2 billion to help state, local, and territorial jurisdictions across the United States strengthen their public health workforce and infrastructure or that CDC has a $443 million contract with software company Palantir to deliver a ‘Common Operating Picture’ to Advance Public Health Preparedness.

If you want to see where all this could lead, we can simply look at what’s happening in China.

S3240 is a great fit for China, but it a lousy bill for New Jersey, where medical privacy and informed consent should matter. If people want to opt into this database, let them. We have the database. But we don’t need this bill. BigPharma and Big Government do.

Please oppose this bill.

Is it the best testimony? Nope. Do they need to hear it anyway? I think so. Mostly, I’m sharing because it’s a sample of a voice. Mine. But you would likely say something different and who knows which voice might be the one that resonates?

Once upon a time a young woman gave a simple and moving speech that made me realize that I didn’t have to have it all figured out to “just show up.”

The truth is, it’s not really about the legislators. I mean, of course it matters in the short term - we’re trying to stop a bill. But we’re playing a long game. And others are listening and learning. It’s how our numbers have grown.

I didn’t just speak to legislators today. I spoke to people who came to address other bills and people who work in the building. There are always opportunities to share ideas and make new allies.

Most people know nothing about the laws that are being made under their noses every single day, and once they learn, they care. There’s strength in numbers.

So let’s brings the numbers! We’ve got work to do in January!

I wanted to be there yesterday but couldn’t make it. We are gaining momentum slowly. Hopefully some people learned something from your testimony.

Thank you for “showing up” and for raising such critical talking points. The words “vaccine preventable disease” is chilling especially if the government is deciding arbitrarily what is deemed vaccine preventable.
