Oops! Aluminum in Childhood Vaccines May Be a Problem After All

A new study shows a link between vaccine-related aluminum exposure and persistent asthma in young children. Feel free to compare the reporting of Stat News, Dr. James Lyons-Weiler, and Children’s Health Defense on this story.

Below is an excerpt from one of the articles. Can you guess which one?

A new study suggests there may be a link between aluminum used in vaccines that are given to young children in the first two years of life and the risk of developing asthma before age 5. The findings are preliminary and both the authors and others who have studied the data urge caution in the interpretation of the results.

Based on the findings, the possible association needs to be further explored, said the authors, who nonetheless are worried that in an era of rampant vaccine misinformation and expanding hesitancy on the part of some parents, results that should be seen as the start of a scientific exploration may instead be viewed as the conclusion of it.

**Hint: it’s the only one most people will see.

The Stat News article, and mainstream coverage of this in general, is a good example of a propaganda technique called Limited Hangout. Basically, limited hangout is a partial exposure of something much bigger and more egregious. It’s often used as a tactic to regain control of a narrative once it becomes clear that a story is getting too big to be suppressed. If it blows up before the media can properly frame it, the media risks losing credibility (or sponsors), so instead it reveals a piece of the truth in order to settle the story and rein the narrative back in.

This study is a problem because it confirms what “conspiracy theorists” (aka scientists) have been saying for years, but the media is under fire for censorship so it must tread carefully. So limited hangout will be some variation of…

There’s this study about aluminum causing asthma in kids. It’s preliminary and doesn’t really prove anything, but we’ll keep an eye on it. Anti-vaxxers are going to blow this all out of proportion, but don’t let them alarm you. Meanwhile, we’re going to keep recommending vaccines the exact same way because they’re safe and effective.

Meanwhile, in censored science….

For years, world-renowned aluminum expert Dr. Christopher Exley has tried to address his concerns about the risks of aluminum toxicity from various sources, including vaccines with aluminum adjuvants. He even offered some hopeful solutions.

But instead of awards and accolades, he lost his funding.

Here he is discussing how he has been finding aluminum in the brains of people who had Alzheimer’s or autism.

We life in what’s called the age of aluminum and every one of us is exposed to it in everyday life…

Take it from me, human exposure to aluminum is probably the most important thing that has happened to us in terms of our exposure to toxins in the world today..

If your aluminum content of your brain is above a certain point, it will be contributing to Alzheimer’s disease. It is a likely cause of Alzheimer’s disease…

To me that’s dark enough…

But little did I know the next piece of research I did on human brain tissue was going to get even darker… because we then had the privilege to look at brain tissue from ten individuals who died with the diagnosis of autism. And I was not expecting to find data which was as scary as the data we found with the people with Alzheimer’s. Because these were people - sometimes adolescents, 13, 14, 15 years of age, 30 years of age, one was 50 years of age - and again what we found in these individuals quantitatively was some of the highest levels again of aluminum in human brain tissue… mainly adolescents.

What we’re able to show now in an individual with autism, anything that we’re able to show now (referring to slide)… anything that you’re seeing with a bright orange color is a florescence that is specific for aluminum. So what are these round things that are giving strong aluminum florescence? This is the bit that really scared me about autism, because these are not neurons. The brain’s mainly made of hundreds of millions of neurons. These are the non-neuronal cells, responsible for the housekeeping of the brian, to make sure neurons work properly. They’re called the glia or microglia. They are formed of inflammatory or pro-inflammatory cells. Their role is to make sure the synapses, the communication between neurons, work properly. Their dysfunction is heavily implicated in autism and autism spectrum disorders. And here we’re showing those same cells literally full of aluminum.

In this case we’re showing cells crossing between the lymphatic system of this individual and the brain tissue.

In the following slide we see similar cells, again pro-inflammatory type cells, crossing the blood brain barrier, moving potentially from the body, the periphery into the brain carrying with them a cargo of aluminum.

We didn’t see these types of cells full of aluminum in the many, many cases of Alzheimer’s that were looked at. So this was a new and novel finding specific to autism at this time.

And again, that 15 year old boy, we were able to show areas of inflammation within the brain tissue surrounded by these cells. These are the types of cells… if there was an inflammatory response within the brain tissue caused by anything, there would be a signal sent, “help, we need help here.” These pro-inflammatory cells would come to that site, both from within the brain tissue, but also from the periphery.

Somebody asked me today, Chris, are you going to talk about vaccines today?.. and I’m not, but I am going to make one comment about this…

When you receive a vaccine which includes and aluminum adjuvant as all of us do and have done, the firs thing that happens is that the adjuvant made of aluminum causes a little bit of toxicity at the point at which you have the injection. And lots of inflammatory cells come racing to the site of injection, they load up with aluminum. They look like these cells (on slide). In fact we have identical images of the same types of cells at the injection sites of vaccines which have aluminum adjuvants.

So putting 2 and 2 together - we can’t say that for certain because one doesn’t experiment on humans - these types of cells could be taking aluminum from an injection site and carrying it to brain tissue and therefore producing neurotoxicity in the brain.

And so for the first time we do have a mechanism whereby and linking aluminum in vaccines to neurological disease.

It’s dark. Scary. It’s scary for me because saying things like that get me death threats on the web. Because all of a sudden Chris is an “anti-vaccine” person. No. I’m simply telling you that aluminum is dangerous and that’s why I’m here.

Dr. Exley has also proposed drinking silicon-rich water as a simple and promising solution for aluminum toxicity.

Silicon-Rich Natural Waters
I have written extensively about the natural history of silicon-rich mineral waters in my recent book, Imagine You Are an Aluminium Atom, and elsewhere. I will not repeat this information herein. I will explain why silicon-rich mineral waters are the ‘notable exception’ mentioned in my previous post…

But our “safe and effective” narrative would not be questioned and he was Wakefielded for his efforts.

So instead of pursuing the questions posed by Dr. Exley’s research, Dr. Paul Offit reassured us that the aluminum in vaccines is safe.

Is aluminum safe? And the answer is yes, it’s safe. At the levels contained in vaccines it’s absolutely safe. Is it possible that one can get enough aluminum — and aluminum is a light metal, arguably the most common light metal in the earth’s crust — is it possible to get enough aluminum to hurt you? The answer to that question is yes, but not by vaccines.

Usually when you see aluminum toxicity, and aluminum at very high levels can affect the brain, and it can also affect the bone marrow causing anemia, when you see that it’s usually in people who are hospitalized, who have kidneys that either don’t work well, or don’t work at all, who are getting large quantities of aluminum in things like antacids, or in their intravenous parenteral nutrition. So it’s really only in very rare setting in which you see aluminum toxicity, it’s invariably in a hospitalized patient.

So the level of aluminum contained in vaccines, however, is trivial. And you frankly ingest much more aluminum either in the water that you drink or anything made from water on this planet, and many of the foods that we eat contain quantities of aluminum far greater than you’re ever going to get in vaccines.

So, I think parents can be reassured that the trace quantities of aluminum in vaccines can’t possible do harm.

He even provided this explanation of the difference between injected and ingested aluminum in a separate video.

But people could reasonably ask, “Isn’t there a difference then between when you inject somebody with aluminum versus when you ingest aluminum, or eat it?” And the answer is yes.

It’s actually, you’re much more likely to have aluminum in your circulation if you inject it than if you ingest it. But the point is that there’s so much more aluminum in the environment, either in the food you eat or the water you drink, than you would ever get as a shot in vaccines. That even though there is that difference between injection and ingestion, there’s logarithmically so much more aluminum that you ingest that you actually have far more aluminum in your circulation because of what you eat and drink than you would ever get from vaccines.

Unfortunately, he forgot acknowledge that injected aluminum cannot be eliminated the same way that ingested aluminum is and tends to end up in the brain.

Researchers sometimes find things they wish they hadn't. That's probably the case with this observational study suggesting there *may* be an association between aluminum in vaccines & asthma in early childhood. Caveats abound/more study definitely needed.
