This week, A5516, a bill that would require certain health care professionals to undergo bias training, passed through New Jersey’s Assembly Health Committee.
Thank you for writing about this. The issues I've had to deal with because I chose to not be vaccinated were minor to the ones mentioned above since I'm not working and only had elective surgery delayed. I put off travel for three years and found I should have put it off longer as the family member I went to see was still not ready for our differences of opinion on these subjects although they weren't openly discussed. I realized that the issues of the last three plus years have permanently altered close relationships so the grief and sheltering starts all over again.
The things that have been done to everyone under the guise of protecting us is horrific and has totally altered my view of our government, health care system, and my own ability to judge and trust people. Even though I never had COVID it changed my life anyway and for that I blame our government and politicians who used it to control people's minds. And they continue hammering us with Flu, RSV, COVID part whatever... stay fearful. I continue to resist.
I'm really sorry you had that experience. All of it. It's dehumanizing and all of it matters. Considerable time and propaganda have gone into creating the impression that the unvaccinated are potential disease spreaders and that vaccines deserve all the credit for eliminating deadly diseases. They managed to equate unvaccinated with contagious. They managed to make us fear treatable common childhood illnesses that help prime the immune system and can reduce the likelihood of cancers down the line. They've buried the evidence that shows us that deadliness is less about pathogens and more about vulnerability/terrain. Basically they induced Stockholm syndrome to gain our compliance.
So we do what we can to shed light. And resist. Thank you for resisting. You're not alone.
Thank you for being one of the voices in the darkness. It's been encouraging those of us who felt alone to know there are like-minded intelligent individuals who make up a large group of resistance warriors who will save so many because we have been slowly changing minds with patience, education, and our calm persistence. Writers like you, Toby, Eugyppius, Dr. Campbell, Dr. Suneel, Darkhorse Podcast, have all had a hand in educating others and continue to do so which raises people like me from the depths of sorrow and depression when I feel so alone and abandoned. We greatly need and appreciate your sacrifice.
Thank you, Deborah. We all need each other. We've seen the devastating impacts of loneliness and isolation and I'm grateful that we're all finding each other.
And that's quite a list to be included in. I have so much respect for those writers.
