Thanks for raising this. The concept of tolerance and PsyOps campaign with it over the years is problematic. Equanimity is a valuable concept. Also curiosity, understanding, respect, coexistence.
Equanimity is an essential element of classical liberalism and civil dialogue. The world is lost if we cannot return to a time where ideas can be exchanged, discussed, and debated.
When it comes to Equanimity, I always think of Spenser Tracey’s role in the movie “Inherent the Wind,” where he argues in defense of a position that is opposite from his own personal beliefs. This skill or concept used to be taught in primary education systems when I was young; a life skill that has served me well over the years. Equanimity breeds understanding and tolerance.

No kidding, the CIA coins these words and phrases for their Psych Ops on the public. They use their Talking Heads to a tee on the Daily/Nightly News to spread them. They get a kick out of watching what the Lemming Americans pick up on ( almost everything ) I love to watch the flops too, but not many. " Circle Back ". I don't get triggered but this one comes the closest for me.
Of course they make no sense the words often do NOT correlate to the idea! That is when it is really hilarious to see the parrots running around repeating them. Conspiracy ( def two or more people bringing around a given result, connotation; often a wrongful act. Theory ( def : a proposed explanation ).
Lord protect us from the Chicken Littles!
And give us the strength and awareness not to emulate them at any time.
You're doing great work attuning to attack words, programming words, and I agree with you "tolerance" is triggering. Also "triggering" is one of their words, and I just used it!
I WATCHED (again) both the Trudeau clip and the Biden clip. It's staggering.
Oh wow, you're right! Triggering is also one of those words - to remind us that we can't cope with anything, that we're victims of anything that makes us uncomfortable and that we need laws to make other people stop. How do we reclaim our words? I think taking responsibilities for our experiences and feelings definitely has to be a part of it... what else?

All the best.
It’s a fine line between what I’m willing to tolerate and what I’m willing to put up with
Knowing our own fine lines is pretty important right now. It seems we have strayed from all things internal...
